Hi All,
Went to Portland International Race track to watch some of the historic races.
If there was ever a car made that could run on a track, it was there!!!
Met WFO Herb and son Justin. Larry Miller wasn't there, don't know what
happened. They might have had a breakdown on the way or discovered Oregon
weather today was better than that of Central/northern California. Gorgeous
day. Saw Mike Franks Sprite Mk 3? run in his qualifying race. He has a video
cam mounted on the roll bar so I got to see the race afterwards with a view
from the roll bar!! Really cool. Mike did a nice steady smooth race. Car
ran cool, but oil temp got high. Was about 92 degrees at his race time.
All in all a great day, sorry Larry wasn't there.
