It sold today.

1965 Austin Mini Cooper S, modified as "Mini Sprint" replica [located near
Ventura, CA]

This genuine 1275cc Cooper S has been modified in the same fashion as the
legendary "Mini Sprint" models, including about 4" of roof chop and a fully
deseamed body, including the roof gutters. Still has its genuine S motor,
twin SU carbs and oil cooler, along with the 7.5" S disc brakes and twin
fuel tanks. Not only does it fly, but it's a real attention-getter.

This one is left-hand drive (LHD). Performance and handling upgrades include
aluminum finned rear brake drums for better braking, a set of
"stick-to-the-road" Yokohama A008 165-series 10" tires, and a conversion to
dry suspension. Aftermarket exhaust has a healthy note, but isn't too loud.
The mirror-black paint looks very nice, but it isn't flawless. If you get
really close in, you might find some minor cracks and blemishes. (No biggie,
since when you are driving it all anyone will see is a black blur!)

The floors, "A" panels, doors and subframes appear solid. There's some rust
in the rear valance (below the rear bumper), but that's a readily-available,
easily-replaceable panel. Exterior mods include a roof-mount aerial,
later-model taillights, and small black flares. Interior mods include an
aftermarket Motolita sport steering wheel, a custom dash with all Smiths
gauges, and deep, sport-type seats. Under the bonnet are low-restriction air
filters. Comes with two sets of 10" alloys, including Revolutions and
Cosmics.

Located close to the MiniGuy showroom in Ventura, or the owner may bring it
here if you'll be stopping by. [ID# 2KEZ387] Yes, the VIN number starts with
"CA2S7". Call or email for more pics or details. Asking $12,500. Won't last
long at this price!
