Just a heads up to the list about a very bogus email that's going around,
Proportedly from the c2it online service of Citicorp bank.
The subject line is
c2it.com: You've received money transfer
The email states that someone has sent you money but you have to set up an
account in their system to be able to receive it. (Much like paypal might do)
They then ask you for personal info including your credit card info, pin #
I called the REAL c2it service, they said if they needed info from you they'd
request you to call them, NOT supply info in an email. They said if anyone
get one of these to forward the message to them @ emailreports@citicorp.com
to help in their investigation.
