bugeye tach or is it?

I have a bugeye tach that I think is actually from another vehicle.  It
is identical to all the other bugey tachs that I've seen but instead of
the read ignition light it has a blue high beam indicator.  Can anyone
clue  me in as to the origin of this tach?
