in the days of old there were certain cars that were made for tropical
climates as well as cars that were specifically made as race cars that were
heater"delete" from the factory.
i amnot saying that your car is either of these options but i do think you
might have a car that was modified by a prior owner to omit the heater.
an under hood picture of the car would be of great assistance since that
would show if the area has been cut out or if it has been welded or filled
in. up to that point it is pure conjecture as to what may have transpired.
i have a friend with a 56(i think that is the year?) MGA that has never been
titled as it was a factory race car never intended for the street. so cars
like that did exist but are a rare case!
chuck
been there.....broke that! (and ocasionally was stupid enough to break it
again!) :)
