What use is the heater "top down"?
And well you should ask, sir!

In late autumn, early spring and most
assuredly on cooler nights with one
side of the tonneau cover up.

And, Dec. through Feb. when
the car is used on sunny, dry winter days for trips not normally
exceeding 30
minutes.

Me....I follow Vizard's advice on
on the care and feeding of the A Series
and the advice I was given as well by
Andy Moreland who sold me my first
BE (and MGA). He sold 'em, ralleyed
and raced 'em. 

And also what I've seen up at Limerock
on Series A "heaterless" track machines. 

I "like" the "Pythias Method" for June, July & Aug. 

Different strokes for different folks, though. Whatever floats one's
boat. :)
