I think I meant grabbier and not "stronger"
and apologize for the confusion in my
use of terms, Chuck. My bad! Forgot about lining material as an element
in
all of this.

What I meant was a clutch that comes
in "hard and fast" rather than "softly"
and can be "feathered" in action. 

Am I making any sense, here? :)
