Well, not really so...

I finally got around to looking at this item. Firstly, this can't be 
used on a sprite without also changing the front mounting plate as it 
has a different shape to accommodate the tensioner. If this is indeed 
from a A+ engine, as Paul suggests, it is an odd early one I've never 
seen before. I say this because it does not have the timing cover 
crankcase vent canister and the type I've seen before is shaped 
differently. That one is referred to as a "later type tensioner arm" 
in the Mini workshop manual. I have a feeling finding the other parts 
you need, particularly the mounting plate wound be difficult to find.
