I don't know, it certainly isn't a wing.
Wings are on planes, birds, and bugs.

But replacing the boot (it doesn't look like any boots I've ever seen on 
those Texan types) watch the spring anchors. The rest is just 
sheetmetal. cut it out paying attention to the spring mounts, and weld 
in the new one.
