Some joy!
I got her to run last night and turn on headlights and signal lights . . .
Doh! Stalled when I turned on the signal lights. Did some more, then all
seems okay.
Question though. With a generator and the car idling around 1000 and the
radio, headlights and turn signals on, what whould you expect the ammeter to
be reading??? Almost -20 ?

It took a long time to do this as a neighbour stopped by to introduce
himself, check out the garage, and tell me about his Mini and Bs and other
LBC stuff. That took a while.
