John,

Frank uses self taping screws and a screw gun, but he is working on the 
Bugeye early radiator with no sheet metal in the way.

On the Midget front end I use slightly longer bolts to catch the 
captured nuts in the shroud.  I put an extra nut in the socket before I 
"load" the bolt into the socket (a dab of grease will hold the bolt in 
place in the socket).  I use a 12 inch 3/8 drive extension to start the 
bolt into the shroud. (Hard to explain - easy to do...).

I have 2 small stainless steel bolts on the bottom of the radiator 
shroud with a large stainless steel washer on each side.  These I leave 
in place (loose) on the bottom of the shroud and lower the shroud into 
place (with the radiator attached).  The bolts will slide into the 
slots in the bottom of the front cowl section and I just tighten them 
up.

I always use "never-seize" on everything for reassembly.
