Last evening I started hanging the right front A arm with disc brakes. I
already had the shock mounted.

With the bushings in the lower fulcrums I slid the bolts in. On the front
side the bolt does not exit the hole at the center. I can move it a bit but
not entirely centered.

Also when raising up the hub the trunnion doesn't line up behind the shock
lever.

Is a certain amount of persuasion needed? The chassis had no damage I am
aware of and looks to be very straight and square. A arm and brake assembly
were from a reputable rebuilder and also look to be damage free.

I need to know if I can center the front arm by using the nut and torqueing
it in as close to center as possible while getting the special washer seated
in the upper notch. And can I loosen the shock and try to position it to
line up without putting to much lateral load on the arm.

I plan to do the other side tonight to see if that side also is misaligned.

Thanks for all the help.

I thought this would be the easier part!
