The stuff I use is called Chemetrall.  The kit (without plastic case) consists 
of a can of cleaner, a can of dye, and a can of developer.  I have seen it 
locally under Magnaflux's brand name at Grainger for about the same $30 for all 
3, but am still on the original kit from 2 years ago.  I am sure the cleaner 
isn't any different than brake cleaner at $7 a can vs. $2 a can, but 
we-not-that tight.
