Sounds like the hoses are shot. At least for starters.
It might be a good idea to do it all.
Master kit, hoses, w/cylinders and/or caliper kits.
Might as well do the slave cyl too.
To bleed the slave, remove the rubber plug on the inside of the
passenger footwell, you can get to the nipple from there.
