Lately he has been using the soft drink concentrate containers. He has a
custom fridge that holds four of them upright and pressurizes them with a
remote CO2 tank. The taps are built in the door. He brews in 15 gal batches
in a 8 foot tall, three tier apparatus with three stainless vats. Propane
burners under two of the three vats, and temperature control coils in the
appropriate ones to keep perfect temps for brewing. He has a chest type
freezer modified to ferment at controlled temps. Between his science
background and beer judging training, he goes at it very scientifically and
turns out beer that tastes better in most cases than the store-bought stuff.
His Porter is by far my favorite. Not quite as 'heavy' as Anchor Porter, with
a fine tiny-bubble head and smooth flavor coupled with an alcohol level absent
in commercial beers. Three tall ones of his Porter and we'll be assembling
the car upside-down.

As for the concern about laws on carrying homebrew, I can only imagine that
any cop given a great story like the upcoming Bustercluster and cold-sober
demeanor of the driver would shrug and wave me on.

Are the kegs 10 gallon or 5 gallon units? When i was brewing i used 5
gallon. If 5 gallon one of each would be great. We could taste test.
