I have a "clean" Rib Cage that I want to sell or list on eBay. I bought it
from a guy who had it on a stand powered by an electric motor. He was able to
show me that it was running solid through all of the gears. He also took the
side panel off to show how the gears were all in good shape, no chips or wear
issues.

I bought this gear box for my 59 Bugeye. I have since decided to continue to
run my car with the smooth case that is in it until I can upgrade to a
Rivergate conversion.

I wonder what I should price the rib cage for? I think I paid around 300
dollars for it, but it was so darn long ago that I really do not recal the
amount that well! It might have been more than 300.

Of course anything like this has to be sold "as is" due to the fact that no
one knows what condition it is in until it is under a load. I would think
that this gear box will run fine - but there can always be something unforseen
hanging on out there that might cause it to not run as clean as it looks.

Any ideas as to what I should price this at? Anyone interested in it - I
will have some pictures of it coming up here real quick? I will take several
shots with and without the side door off and will try to get some interior
shots
as well.

Any help or advice is certainly appreciated!

Thanks!
