Found that the two eared cap from a cast aluminum Moss valve cover for a Spitfire 1300cc engine fit perfectly, thank you Chuck! He even let me take it with me, but he knows where I live. There is a link to the picture below. Now to find the Moss P/N so I can order a replacement.
