I was welding up some holes in the driver's door in my '62 Chevy pickup
rat rod (hence NLBC) Saturday. Started feeling heat on leg - removed
helmet , looked down and saw bottom of one leg on FIRE. Amazing how fast
you can move when motivated - stamped fire out. One partially melted
shoe, a singed sock and crispy pant leg.
No damage to me - except for pride - really felt stupid. Fortunately no
one was home to watch my little fire dance.
Washed & waxed Bugeye (token LBC), drove with son 60 miles on freeway to
grandma' s house - Bugeye running sweet.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend too.
