Car insurance problem off topic...

...except that it is about cars, after all.

My wife got rear ended in her Miata tonight.  She's okay but the car isn't.

The problem I have is in figuring out the other owner's insurance 
company's identity.

The cop wrote down "California CAI"

We're in Connecticut, as is the driver of the vehicle that hit her.

But I can't find an identity anywhere for this company.  The other 
driver doesn't answer her phone, and we have to arrange the repair and a 
rental at her expense.

Anybody know anything about this company???
