All Spridget tanks fit each other.
The Bugeye has a welded on filler neck (long)
All others have a short filler neck and a hose going to the rest of the
neck (2 piece neck) Later Midgets used a 1 gallon larger tank, the drain
plug left sometime around 69 or 70. Sending units changed 3 times over
the years too. Be sure to get the sender for the tank, some are screwed
on, others a twist/cam type deal.
But i am running a late larger tank in my 59, all I had to do was fudge
the filler neck and hose a bit.
