| Hey Chris, When I pulled mine I put it in a parts cleaner and cleaned it all up before storage. I sprayed some WD lube on it wrapped it in a trash bag and sealed it. It was on the shelf for over a year with no signs of rust. Phil Listers, Those of you that have pulled a diff from a rear axle for storage (as a spare), did you do anything to the gears and other innards to make sure it didn't rust in storage?
