That, and has been for a goodly # of years, now a MYTH<G>!!
Just did a set on a Big Healey and ther where checked for true PRIOR to tire
mounting and where perfect<G>!! Spokes are now SS even.
I know for a fact that they ARE checked before being shipped to Moss.
