Before you pull the Ignitor, pull a plug wire, insert a screwdriver in
the end of the wire, place the metal shaft of the screwdriver about
3/16" from the head and have someone turn the key. You'll know
immediately if it is firing, before you do any real work or upset your
timing.
Also, check the ground wire from the block/head to the battery/chassis.
