That's very cool JIm - thanks for sharing. Maybe he can join and make his
first posts from orbit!. I like hearing of famous and/or wealthy people
who like our little cars for the simple fact that they're huge fun, whether
they impress the crowds or not.
I have to admit that from the title of your email, I thought the opening line
was going to be: "An Astronaut and a Sprite guy walk into a bar..."

FYI, it is now 12:55 CDT and Astronaut Drew Fuestel is outside (VERY
outside) working on the Hubble Telescope. If you have the NASA channel on TV
you can watch him. He's the guy in the big white suit ;-)
For those not familiar, Dr. Andrew (Drew) Fuestel, worked his way through
college restoring old sports cars and is currently restoring (or has just
finished) doing a box Sprite for his wife. A letter has gone to the
Astronauts office in Houston inviting Drew to join us on the lists and also
to join us at the big national Midget 50th anniversary celebration June
20-24, 2011 in Elkhart Lake.
