After all the stupid things I've done in the past, I do not trust myself to
glue a magnet to an oily plug and put it in harms way. 
Also, I put my magnetic plug in high, in the fill hole; this way I can clean
it without 'draining' my fluid. ...bill in oregon

If you do find it's an OK one, make a magnetic plug using a dab of JB Weld
in the plug and a small round magnet you can get at Home Depot,  They come
about a dozen in a roll you can pick up.
