They're made in Italy by Cebora.  I like them.  I've had mine for about 15
years.  Soave got one recently.  They're also sold as MAC, Astro, and
several other brand names.  An electric welder is basically a transformer,
and Italy leads the world in transformers, coils, and other wound goods.
