Knowing the amount of stroke is worthwhile. But someone reading
you data might thing that longer stroke is better, and that is not the case.

Stroke is not so much the important thing.
The distance the throwout lever moves between an engaged and released clutch
is very small.

The important thing to know is that having a slave bore that is greater than
the master bore
will mean reduced pedal effort. In this view then all you have to do is
consider the area of the
pistons only.

Because a 7/8 bore slave has about 40% more area than a 3/4 master bore then it
will reduce
the pedal effort by this much.

So I think the general rule of thumb should be...
You should go with the largest bore slave that you can get away with, such that
you are
able to maintain adequate free play.

By adequate freeplay I mean that when the pedal is released the slave retracts
such that there
is no undue pressure against the throwout bearing. I think the Rivergate
instructions
define this as 1/4" free movement at the throwout lever before it touches the
clutch, but this
is from my memory.
