It was imagining I had rats crawling all over my body that made me need
mood
meds in the first place!

Rats are used to sense tightness in a "customer's" neck; they ride about on
your shoulders. It will then nuzzle your ear to remind you to take your mood
med. ...bill in oregon

Actually kate,
The federal term as these are federal laws, not state laws, is " Service
Anaimals" Now which includes dogs, miniature ponies, pigs, and even some
reptiles. The reason the term has changed is because such a wide variety of
animals have been used and 'okayed" by doctors for such uses. An
interesting note is that a there is no federal accrediting )or licensing of
"service animals". The laws can pritind out from any site which deals with
ADA Law. http://www.ada.gov/svcabrpt.pdf now the question is only how
far do you want to push the issue to gain equal access.
