When I lived in England back in the 1960s I found little difficulty at all
getting used to RHD. With one exception. Reversing out of a parking slot
into a driving lane can be really hairy. Not only is everything backward,
but looking over your shoulder out the back window makes it all backward
again!!

While living there I often changed to LHD vehicles (US Air Force) and before
I returned to the US I bought a LHD Fiat 850 Coupe. I found that you have to
trust your passenger to tell you when you can pull out to pass! In the UK
it was easier. UK drivers would just pull out to pass without looking very
far down the road. At that point, the driver who was most insistent with
flashing their head lamps eventually got the right of way and the passing
lane down the center of the road... ;-)

Cheers!!
