My first thought is what happens if you remove the gas cap? Is there a
BUNCH of vacuum when you open it? I.e. the pump is sucking as hard as it
can and gives out at the high vacuum.

Here's what I have....

1959 Bugeye/1275 cc/ New Weber 45 DCOE/ New Delco EP12S Fuel pump.

Here's the problem.

The car runs for 30 min to an hour then stops. Checked the fuel line at
the carburetor and there is no fuel but I can hear the Delco Electric fuel
pump running. If I let the car sit for 45 mins to an hour and then it will
run for another 30 mins to a hour.

Note: this is my second Delco pump in the last 6 months.
