why below was limited to Frogeyes, I asked John about it.

It appears that 16 or so bugeye owners may show up. Considering a lot
of car shows I have attended only had 3-5 bugeyes I am surprised at the
response. There will be a few door prizes and lots of good storied
about bugeyes I am sure. Its a great chance to meet up with people and
exchange restoration tips, part gathering sources, and mechanical tips.
It also a great opportunity to tick off all my neighbors and take up
all the parking on the street with happy cars! :)
I will let people know what they can do to help as far as food etc when
I get the final list. Please forward this to all the bugeye owners you
know.
Here is a partial list of who is coming. Lets make this a big, fun
event and if you can make it let me know. If you are not on THE BIG LIST
and want to be added send me an email and if you are on the list and can
not attend let me know also.

Once again its time for the annual Bugeye BBQ (Ok, last year we got
rained out a few times last year). All who can make it are welcome. It
woulbe best if you could drive your little bugeye or similar British
car, but not required. [The date has net been set yet. ] I wanted to
first run the idea up the flag pole and see how many people are interested
in attending. I would think a Sat. or Sunday afternoon would be best.
Say from 1pm til 4pm. Same menu as last year....
uhmmm BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, salad and dessert.
The purpose of this email is to get an idea of how many people would
attend and second to choose a few dates and see which ones work for the
majority [See Editor's note below].
Any weekend in March would be a good place to start and then is Sat.
better than Sunday.
