As quoted below - I've found where the vacuum take off is (I hope!)

The Morris Minor 1000 workshop manual text refers to a "ignition control pipe" 
fitted to the carburettor - but it does not give any details, drawing or part 
number.
No mention at all in the Haynes Sprite manuals!?

I'm assuming it is a small diameter cooper tube that is threaded on one end to 
screw into the carburettor.

It is a 948cc engine with a single HS SU carburettor.

Does anyone have a scrap HS carb that they could take the copper(?) pipe off 
and sell it to me? I'm also guessing that it's probably about 1" -> 1.5" long.

Or what the thread might be...

No supplier lists it ;-(
