I, like the rest of us, am stunned, and saddened beyond belief.
And like Peter, my monitor keeps fogging up, it's gonna take me some time to
write this.
Please bear with me while I write this. It's gonna be long,
it's really affecting me more than I thought it should.
maybe because I lost my Dad at too young an age.

Frank, and his family are some of the finest people I have had the priviledge
of meeting.
Willing to go out of there way to help others out, and not asking for
anything in return.
I learned of Frank through this list, which I stumbled on in 2000,
while looking for help in bringing my Aunt's and Father's old HP Bugeyeracer
back to life.
I first met him in person at the first Valentine Rally,
My Bugeye was still in the beginning of resto.
My son and I were admiring Franks Bugeye, he asks,
"wanna take it for a drive?" Seriously??? I ask, "Sure!" he says.
So my son and I take it for a little spin. WOW. What fun.
And I had never met the man.
Those Rallies and the subsequent OSHIT get togethers really showed the great
character
of some of the people on this list.
I feel blessed to have been a part of the E.A.T. S.H.I.T. crew.
I wasn't able to make it to nearly as many gatherings as I would have liked.
But when I was able, what a blast!
(that was my usual task, bead blasting everything, bout all I was good for,
:-)) But I loved it.
Super friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, fun loving people.
I think it was one of my first OSHIT gatherings, need to rebuild a set of
carbs,
so Frank said bring em down and we'll have a look.
so I took em apart, cleaned and bead blasted them,
and then Frank rebuilt them in a matter of minutes. They work great.
I tried to give him money for that and all the food and beer we all drank,
but he refused. I left it on a workbench when I left, when I got home.
there was an email asking if I had left money behind and if I did, WHY?
I answered I did, that I felt that I should leave a little something for the
work and the food.
and he said, "Thanks, but it's not necessary, just pay it forward"
as many of you have said.
If you needed something and he had a spare, it was yours. Period
Sprite Spree 03.
I didn't have a Spridget at the event, (I had towed a brown, beat up 77 Midget
that
I had used some parts off of and was trying to sell the rest).
Everyone was going on a cruise in their Spridgets. I didn't have one,
but Frank threw me the key to drive Pieces. Blew me away.
But that's who he was.
After he finished the HOLY Sprite, Tiffany was bugging him to restore a car
for her.
I was over my head reassembling my Bugeye and had a spare Bugeye that I was
using for parts.
He asked me how much I wanted for it.
Since he had done so much for others, I proposed that if he would help me
finish my car,
I would give him my other one. Basically complete, except bonnet and
windshield.
Not too rusty, but had been hit in the rear.
Although, for him it was an easy thing to get my car together, I got the best
of the deal.
I'm sure you all have seen all the work he had to do to restore LadyBug !!
I still feel guilty about it.
I'll never be able to repay him for him for all his help, guidance and
encouragement
over the years.
And to Diane, an amazing woman for putting up with all of us yahoo's invading
her house over the years to play with our crazy little cars.
Graciously feeding us and putting up with our messes. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH.
My sincere condolences and my families prayers are with you in your time of
sorrow.

I think a scholarship fund for Frankie the V is a great idea.

ALWAYS remember Frank's mottos

1. Drive it like you stole it!
2. Pay it forward (I'm sure he paid out more than he received)
3. DON'T BUY CHINESE CRAP!!!

Thanks for letting me write.

Brian Seavey
Bugeyeracer finally resto'ed! Thanks to Frank!!
