It's really quite simple. Get a copy of Vizard's book on competition tuning the
A Series engine. With that, and the superior handling of the Spridget, You can
out run Bs all day.

Collier Cup all-MG race at the Glen yesterday. Hold your hat: 2nd place,
2:22.524 Dave Munoz in a BGT-V8. 1st place, 2:21.724 Charles Guest in a 1275
MG Midget! I think I'm going to give up racing and scrap my car.
And places 3-5 were also Midgets running in the low 2:24's and only then an
MGB.
What can you do to a 1275 that makes it outrun a 215 c.i. V-8?
