Have done the Alaska Highway about 5 times on motorcycles starting in the
early 1970s when there wasn't a square inch of pavement. Last time was about
8 years ago. It was a picnic compared to the early days. I wouldn't be
afraid to take a baby buggy up that highway today.
Ever go 80mph all day in deep gravel and snow and rain on a
motorcycle...? ;-)
