When I was in the Navy we used to repair eroded high pressure sea valves
(submarine type) repaired by using a product called Belzona. It was
applied, machined off and the valves were as good as new.
How deeply has it been scored? If you're using it on an XPAG you may be
able to get by with just having it skim cut by your machinist...you'll lose
a little pressure but not much.
