Filter pressure by-pass level (8-11 psi) refers to the pressure DROP
across the filter, not the pressure level in the system. If there is a
drop fro say 60 psi in to the filter to 50 psi out of the filter then
the filter is clogging, and by-passing the filter will not starve the
engine of oil. Your filter system is a "full flow system" and all the
oil goes thru the filter unless the filter is clogged.
