Remember, foot goes on gas pedal, pedal linkage goes to carb.
Carb puts air and gas into motor, causing motor to turn (assuming ignition
available), motor turns transmission, transmission turns drive shaft,
drive shaft turns rear end , rear end turns tires. Friction between
tires and ground causes force on frame of Tiger, Tiger moves, speedometer
is driven via gears and cable from the transmission tail shaft. One should
not use ones toes to move the speedometer neddle directly.
