Jane,
One thing to keep in mind when setting your expecations is that the
metallurgy of 35 years ago resulted in LAT70s that were more porous and
pitted than modern alloy wheels. Bottom line is that they can be made to look
very nice. But even when done by a professional, you'll probably never be
able to duplicate the brilliance of modern wheels.
I've never heard of Lighting Shine before and would appreciate info to help
find some. For example, what stores sell it now? What does the can looks
like? Paste/liquid?
