I'm trying to install one of the original LAT1 manifold - so far so good
- but the check valve (taken from the original 289) does not fit because
it is too high. Upon checking TBON (page 56), and other pics of this
factory option, the check valve appears to be straight rather than
taking the 90 degree bend. Straight would work just swell. 4th edition
CAT shop notes suggests (page K-19) that a Datsun 240Z PN 47478UO500
works - anybody know if it is straight or 90 degree? Any suggestions
for finding a suitable adapation for a straight check valve with correct
threads? Where precisely would the coil mount on the right fender (TBON
has a pic indicating such a location but is it just slapped on?) Maybe
I should just look for a Lo-rise - anybody have one they want to sell?
Thanks for the help. Andy 443
