Shaun,

I have a plugged antenna hole on my Tiger located about a foot forward
of the windshield on the front right fender.

Does anyone on the list have an XM radio? The XM units are pretty small
and the reception and selection make it appealing to me.

Thanks,
Malcolm

I understand that there is a fair amount of variety in the placement of
radio antennas as originally installed by Rootes dealers. I am in the
process of installing a stereo system (taking great care not to cut up
the car) and would like to duplicate original appearance as much as
possible. I would appreciate any help in understanding how the antennas
were most commonly placed and what type of antenna was generally used
(solid, telescopic, etc.) Also, were the antennas angled, or were they
completely vertical? Any pictures of cars with original antenna
installs would be greatly appreciated. Finally, I am considering using
a hidden antenna like that produced by Dakota Digital. Has anyone used
these? If so, how effective are they?

Shaun
