Are the seats and convertible top frame supposed to be the same color gray
or are they different? Seems like that Ace Hardware machine gray is a nice
match for the seats but I don't have any original paint on my convertible
top frame.
Also, does anyone know the story on the paint job of those softtop frame
mounts. For a picture of what I'm talking about, a couple sold on ebay
recently:

It seems that they were dipped in gray paint at an angle. But why and what
color gray paint was that??
