For a stock Tiger with a 980 rev/mile speedometer:
15 tooth gear needs a tire circumference around 75 inches to be accurate
16 tooth gear needs a tire circumference around 70 inches to be accurate

well, last night i went and picked up a 16 tooth gear for the tiger. It was
only $7. Put it in, and worked like a charm. My 15 tooth isnt bad, just i
think that the extra width on the 16 made it his the teeth better.
but i would like to know How much of a differance there is in mph. The
speedo says dbl the tach. Ex: 2 grand =40mph.
