I only have the drawings in the Alpine Parts List to go by.
The picture on Ebay looks like a Series I & II part; the Parts list drawing
shows the latching parts having a round center section. The drawing for
the Series III & IV looks like it has a square center section for the
latching part.

I bought this item off Ebay and it's different from mine in size. My latch
measures 1.75 inches from top to bottom (in the mounting holes) and this one
is 1.125 inches. The side to side measurement is the same. My latch is also
sturdier looking. I'm missing one so bought this so the cover wouldn't
rattle. The guy says it came off a '65 Tiger or Mk4 Alpine but it won't fit
my late '64 Tiger. Did they make two different versions or did the guy just
sell me the wrong part?
