So.., I took my battery out to have a look=E2=80=A6 been a while !! I see a=
piece of 1/4=E2=80=9D plywood that I probably made years ago ( wonder what I=
used for a pattern?) and see the screw holes are 9 7/16=E2=80=9D apart and n=
o evidence that there ever were any other holes. The piece is 3=E2=80=9D wid=
e and the back hole is 1 5/16=E2=80=9D from the right side and the front hol=
e is 1 7/16=E2=80=9D from the right side =46rom looking at my layout on th=
e back of the wood, it appears like I drilled the wood to match existing tru=
nk holes other wise if I was =E2=80=98creating=E2=80=99 holes in the trunk I=
would have lined them up even. So=E2=80=A6either I=E2=80=99ve redone an exi=
sting incorrect piece=E2=80=A6or I have the holy grail, or something in betw=
een. 55 year old car and all. Still a mystery. Lol
Definitely need more input
