I agree that having the rear wheels spinning while the car is jacked up, even
on stands, scares the @%*%$?! out of me; so many things can go wrong! The
same effect,
i.e. heating up the drums, can be effected by driving the car around for a
while with
the hand brake partially set. This seems a lot safer.
