Oh Tony !!!!
Wrong alloy!!!! I used to polish the case halves of my Harley with a
compound maid by Mother's can't remember much more than that
but a bike shop should have it. The cotton wheel is correct.
I always made them look like chrome then shot them with a clear spray
to help maintain it.
