TR6 ?'s

This has to do with starters

The 69 TR6 shows a starter differant from what is shown for the 70 and on.

Question is can the 69 version be fitted to the 72 ?  And if so is this a
strieght forward fit or is thier modifications involved .  

Reason , cost  in one of my parts books the 69 starter is 59.00  the 72
starter is 150.00!!!!!
