     Andy,

The LBC to which I referred was a, pardon the reference, BRG MG (A I
think) which my next door neighbor bought to replace his Crosley, that
was a fun car too. Foolish (or wise) man that he was, he let a
teenager take it for a test spin.. What a never to be forgotten fun
experience (compared to my 1940 Pontiac). For a variety of reasons I
chose the Triumph for ownership, (over the current advice of some of
     my friends that I should get a... a Miata |-( ...).

I would like to be a daily driver for all but the 'salty' months of
the year here in Ohio. The TR has an OD and HT which I hope will
increase the utility and comfort, not to mention the looks.

Given the above any advice on commercial rust proofing services?

        Murry Mercier

OK, inquiring minds want to know -- what was it?

Scions, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a bit hard for me
to believe that. Yes, it's certainly possible that an NOS cylinder would
have seals and perhaps the tipper valve deteriorate after many years on
the shelf, and I would CONSIDER renewing said bits in an NOS cylinder I
knew to be that old. But no new cylinders manufactured since 1985?
