I saw three Spits in a driveway recently for comparison. One was a MKIII.
One was an early MKII with the rotating handles, and the other a late MKII
with the MGB style handles. There were also other real body differences.
Rear top seam meets the cockpit gunwale differently. You would never know
it without seeing them side by side.
BTW, the cars with the early doors have very different door jambs. Doors are
definately not interchangeable. The early hardware is also common to MBA and
big Healy doors. See Moss catalogs if you need these parts.
